Friendship was the connecting theme of all the work our 2016 Summer School students did during their three days. Day One involved lots of games and warm-ups as well as some work on a few scripted scenes from Romeo and Juliet, from Blood Brothers and from The Ice Palace. Day Two saw a visit from John from Trestle Theatre. He led a terrific day of workshops on Physical Theatre and we are very grateful for his input. Day Three then allowed the group to put together devised physical pieces about Friendship as well as rehearse their scripted pieces in time for a performance to parents and friends in the late afternoon. It was a super few days. We all had fun and learnt lots as well as forming and cementing a few friendships of our own!
