Zero Zero

Written by Brian Wright; music composed by Richard York; directed by Ursula Wright; choreography by Rosalind Conlon

Until modern times, Northampton people were considered independent, free-thinking, rebellious even. They were far fewer in number – poverty, disease and lack of medical knowledge saw to that – but many of them seem to have known who they were and why. Most of us enjoy lives of comfort and pleasure beyond their wildest dreams. But who are we and why? Our future is unknown: we’re building it daily, here in the present. Yet the present was built by all those people in the past. Forget them and we forget ourselves… Zero Zero jogs your memory with stories, dances, songs and jokes. Only make-believe, of course.
